The Red River Shootout, as this game is also called, is played each year between the Oklahoma Sooners and the Texas Longhorns. This rivalry game is played in Dallas, Texas during the week of the Texas State Fair. Despite being located in Texas, Dallas is considered a neutral site because it rests between Norman, Oklahoma and Austin, Texas, home of the two schools. The winner of the game gets both The Golden Hat and "control" of the Red River for the next year. This rivalry series has become so big that it now has corporate sponsorship and has been officially named The SBC Red River Rivalry.
The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party - Florida vs. Georgia
The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party is the common name for the annual game played between the Florida Gators and the Georgia Bulldogs. The game is normally played on the last Saturday in October in Jacksonville, Florida.
