Just thought I'd post a couple of pix from the track in Istanbul, Turkey, where I was last Wednesday. A near riot broke out when a very contentious and physical photo finish was left unchanged by the "stewards".
Not the Triple Crown, but you take what you can get.

Two thoughts come immediately to mind:

1) The horses are running the wrong way.

2) There are some rough looking characters at that track!
